Menopausal Solutions Wanted

5 Jan 2020

93% of menopausal women want non-invasive, technology-related solutions against menopausal symptoms.

AARP's study highlights a significant interest among women in technology-driven solutions to manage menopausal symptoms. In response, AARP launched the "Hacking Menopause Challenge" at CES 2020, encouraging innovators to develop non-invasive tech solutions. Winning entries included EloCare's Menopause Assistant, a wearable device paired with a mobile app to monitor symptoms and provide personalized treatment plans; Pride Chill's system, designed to alleviate hot flashes by cooling inhaled air; and NYX Systems' platform, which tracks sleep patterns to offer recommendations for improving rest during menopause. These initiatives underscore the potential of technology to enhance the quality of life for women navigating menopause.
